YOU DESERT THE BEST FOR YOUT BIRTHDAY (1)

The new Lawn Fawn release has gone live and it's, again, a great one. My favorite stamp set is probably Critters in the Desert, because we get a bunch of cute animals that for the majority we don't have stamps for yet. I also used the new Cactus Border die for this desert scene.

For the sky, I used Squeezed Lemonade and Spiced Marmalade Distress Oxide Inks. I used a piece of Paperbag cardstock for the "sand" and splattered some white and brown watercolors on it.

I die cut the Cactus Border and colored the cacti and succulents with Copic Markers. I colored all the stampe images with Copic Markers as well. Here are all the colors I used:

Cacti: YG00 - YG03 - YG13/ G82 - G85/ G14 - G05 - G17

Tortoise: BG93 - BG96/ G82 - G85

Fennek fox: E53 - E55 - E57/ E11 - E04

Roadrunner: E41 - E43 - E44

Scorpion: R01 - R22

Snake: YG61 - YG63 - YG67

Succulents: YG00 - YG03 - YG13

Rocks: W0 - W3 - W5

Cake: E55 - E57/ R01 - R22/ Y15 - Y17/ Y38 - YR07

I die cut the stamped images and assembled the card. I stamped the sentiment and added highlights with a white gel pen.
