HOPE YOUR BIRTHDAY IS OUT OF THIS WORLD (1)
The Out of This World stamp set if from the Spring 2017 release by Lawn Fawn. I love this set. I created this birthday card with it.
I have wanted to try and make a galaxy background for a while, but I never had a good stamp set to use it with. This cute astronauts and all the planets are perfect for it. I took a piece of watercolor cardstock and used Distress Inks. I started with Carved Pumpkin, Peacock Feathers and Wilted Violet. I just randomly blended them onto the paper, it doesn’t have to look even or pretty. After this, I added Soot Distress Ink overtop of the colors. It mutes the bright colors, but they still shine through. When this was done, I took white acrylic paint and added splatters to the blended background. This is what makes it look like a galaxy. I set it aside to dry.
I stamped the astronaut and some of the planets. I colored all the images with Copic Markers. Here are the colors I used:
Astronaut’s face: E00 – E11
Astronaut’s hair: E57 – E29
Space suit: C0 – C2/ R46 – R59/ C5
Planets: B02 – BV05/ G14 – G05/ YR15 – YR68/ B93 – B95
I fussy cut the images and adhered them to the galaxy background with foam tape. I stamped the sentiment onto white cardstock. I used Lobster Ink and Hippo Ink, both from Lawn Fawn. I cut the paper into a strip and made flag ends.
I adhered the panel onto a grey cardbase. Creating galaxy background is so easy and it looks awesome. I want to try and make it with watercolors next time.

CHIRPY CHIRP CHIRP, TRANSLATION: HAPPY EASTER! (3)
For this Easter/ Spring themed card, I wanted to try some no-line coloring again. I used the Chirpy Chirp Chirp stamp set from Lawn Fawn.
I stamped the three chicks and I used the egg, six times. I stamped it in Antique Linen Distress Ink. It’s a very light, waterbased ink, so when I colored the images, it looks like I drew them myself.
I used Zig Clean Color Real Brush markers for the images. Here are the colors I used:
Chicks: 050 - Yellow/ 070 – Orange
Eggs: 026 – Light Pink/ 031 – Cobalt Blue/ 052 – Bright Yellow/ 080 – Violet
For the eyes of the chicks, I used a black gel pen, to make them pop.
For the background I used Salty Ocean Distress Ink and blended the color on with my blending tool. I used a very light hand and let the color fade into white towards the top. I then die cut two grass borders, with the Meadow Border dies from Lawn Fawn. I also die cut the flowers and the butterly. I colored all these elements with the Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers as well. Here are the colors I used:
Grass: 045 – Pale Green
Flowers: 025 – Pink
Buttergly: Light Violet
I fussy cut the images and assembled the scene. Besides the front grassy border and the butterfly, everything is adhered flat. I added the dotted line to the butterfly with Manatee Ink. The sentiment I stamped in Fresh Lavender Ink and Manatee Ink. All the inks are from Lawn Fawn.
I adhered the panel to a pink cardbase. I really love the soft look of this and will try the no-line coloring more often. It’s not hard, but it’s time consuming though.

CRAFTY HAUL (10)
So much to choose from. The latest Lawn Fawn release is to die for. I couldn’t buy everything, but here are the products I picked up.
The Bicycle Built for You stamp set is probably my favorite set from this release, so I needed this. I also got the coordinating dies, because that bicycle cuts out the inside of the wheels and that looks amazing. I can already see amazing scenes for this stamp set.
I’ve always been fascinated by space and the Out of This World stamp set is super unique. I really want to try to make a galaxy background, so now I have a reason. This stamp set is definitely out of this world.
Thoses mini set Lawn Fawn offers are a great price point and you get a lot of bang for your buck. And as a bunny owner myself, I just couldn’t not get this Hoppy Easter set.
I haven’t picked up any inks for a while and there a six beautiful new colors. I almost went for the Minty Fresh Ink, but eventually picked up Peachy Keen. What a gorgeous color!

YOU OCTOPI MY HEART (2)
This love card was made using the Octopi My Heart mini stamp from Lawn Fawn.
I had a great idea for the background. I first blended some Distress Inks onto a piece of watercolor cardstock. I used four blue colors: Chipped Sapphire, Mermaid Lagoon, Peacock Feathers and Cracked Pistachio. I added some water droplets to it and dabbed them off with a paper towel.
I wanted to create a wavy background, so I took the Stitched Hillside Borders from Lawn Fawn and die cut three waves from the background. I then glued them together onto a white cardbase.
I stamped the octopus twice, the heart and then the bow twice. I colored the images with my Copic Markers. Here are the colors I used:
Boy octopus: YG41 – G02
Girl octopus: V91 – V95
Heart + bows: R22 – R35
I die cut the images with my Cuttlebug and adhered them to the card with foam tape. I added the sentiment to the card and rounded off the two top corners, with the We R Memory Keepers Corner Chomper. I also added some white dots to the octopi, with a white gel pen.
Super cute and I’m super happy with that background.

YOU'RE ONE OF A KIND (3)
I made a simple stamped card with the Rooting For You stamp set from Lawn Fawn.
I only used the watering can from the set. I stamped it repeatedly onto a piece of white cardstock. I used greys and one watering can I stamped in a red color, so it really stands out. I used Lawn Fawn Inks: Manatee Ink, Hippo Ink, Soot Ink and Lobster Ink.
I adhered the panel to a piece of Perfectly Plaid Christmas paper, from Lawn Fawn. This I adhered to a grey cardbase. For the sentiment I used a red strip and heat embossed it with Opaque Bright White Embossing Powder from Wow. I added glitter to the red watering can, with the Spectrum Noir Sparkle Pen.
I first wanted to use the carrot, but my choice for the watering can turned out to be the right one.

HIPPO BIRDIE TO YOU (2)
I wanted to make a shaker card with the Year Four stamp from Lawn Fawn.
I started by die cutting a frame for my shaker window. I used the Wonky Stitched Rectangle STAX from My Favorite Things. I die cut this from some yellow cardstock. I added acetate to the back of it. I die cut a smaller rectangle from green cardstock and later die cut it with the Grassy Border from Lawn Fawn. I adhered it on the front of the frame, to the acetate.
For the background/ inside of the shaker, I took a piece of watercolor cardstock. I blended Mermaid Lagoon Distress Ink onto it, with a mini ink blending tool.
I stamped the hippo, the bird on top of the hippo, the balloon and I also gave both critters a party hat. Because I don’t have the coordinating dies, I decided to stamp them together. It’s easier to cut that way. I color the images with Copic Markers. Here are the colors I used:
Hippo: W0 – W2
Bird: YR00 – YR02/ YR68
Balloon: G17 – YR04
I fussy cut the images and adhered it to the front of the frame. I stamped the sentiment on the bottom of the frame and added some clouds, that I die cut using the Simple Puffy Clouds from Lawn Fawn.
I added a double layer of foam tape to the back of the frame and added my sequins. I adhered the frame to the background and the cardbase.
This shaker card turned out exactly the way I hoped.

CHIRPY CHIRP CHIRP, TRANSLATION: HAPPY EASTER! (2)
When I used the Chirpy Chirp Chirp stamp set by Lawn Fawn the other day, this idea popped into my head later that same day.
I started on the background. I stamped the solid Easter egg several times, creating my own pattern paper. I picked the colors based on a pattern from the Perfectly Plaid collection from Lawn Fawn. I will use this paper later as well. I used four Lawn Fawn Inks: Freshly Cut Grass Ink, Fish Tank Ink, Wild Rose Ink and Carrot Ink.
I stamped the three chicks from the stamp set and added the bunny ears and some other accessories to them. I also stamped the speech bubble with the musical note. I colored the images with Copic Markers.
Chicks: Y00 – Y02
Bunny ears: R22 – R35/ G14 – G05/ B02 – B05/ C0
Beaks + feet: YR04
Basket: B02 – B05
Flower: R22/ Y02/ G14
I fussy cut the images. I trimmed a strip of coral cardstock, matching the Wild Rose Ink on the background. I stamped the sentiment onto it. I added a piece of vellum onto the background, to mute the colors a bit. I adhered this background to the Perfectly Plaid patter paper. Then I adhered the strip, the chicks and the speech bubble. I adhered the panel onto a green cardbase.
I’m super happy with this card, it gets me in the mood for Spring/ Easter.

YOU COLOR MY WORLD (4)
I saw a video by Nichol Spohr and came up with this idea for the Color My World stamp set.
I started by stamping the crayon multiple time towards the bottom of a piece of white cardstock. I masked off some of the images, to make it look like some of the crayons were in the front and some in the background. I also stamped the sentiment above the crayons.
I colored the crayons with Copic Markers. Here are the colors I used:
Yellow crayon: Y00 – Y02 – Y11
Peach crayon: YR00 – YR61 – YR02
Red crayon: R22 – R35
Orange crayon: Y38 – YR04 – YR68
I stamped the smiley faces onto the crayons, adhered the panel to a red cardbase and rounded off the top right corner with the We R Memory Keepers Corner Chomper. I also added a heart to the sentiment, with the Wild Rose Ink from Lawn Fawn.
Super simple card.

CHIRPY CHIRP CHIRP, TRANSLATION: HAPPY EASTER!
Easter is in April and Spring is getting closer. So I decided to pull out the Chirpy Chirp Chirp stamps from Lawn Fawn.
I took a piece of watercolor cardstock and I wanted to create a cloudy sky. I die cut a piece of scrap paper with the Puffy Cloud Borders. I used this as a mask. I put it onto the paper and blended Salty Ocean Distress Ink onto the watercolor cardstock. I did this several times and with a light hand. This way I create a cloudy sky.
I die cut grass from watercolor paper. I used the Meadow Borders and the Grassy Border dies from lawn Fawn. I blended Mowed Lawn Distress Ink onto these grass borders. I added them to the cloudy background. The front grass border I added with foam tape.
I stamped the three chicks and added some accessories to them. I also stamped the egg and the paint bucket. I stamped them onto watercolor paper, because I wanted to color them with the Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers. Here are the colors I used:
Chicks: 050 – Yellow/ 070 - Orange
Basket + bunny ears: 026 – Light Pink
Egg + paint: 031 – Cobalt Blue
Bucket: 091 – Light Grey
Brush: 072 – Beige
I fussy cut all the images and adhered them to the panel. I stamped the sentiment using two different Lawn Fawn Inks: Sunflower Ink and Hippo Ink.
I added the panel onto a white cardbase and my first Easter/ Spring card is a fact.

SURPRISE! HAPPY BIRTHDAY, MY FRIEND (2)
I created this birthday card with the Beary Special Birthday stamp set from My Favorite Things.
I started on the background. I trimmed to rectangles from watercolor paper, one bigger than the other. I rounded off the corners with the We R Memory Keepers Corner Chomper. I took Peacock Feathers Distress ink and blended it onto the two rectangles with an ink blending tool. I added some water droplets to the two panels and dabbed them off with a paper towel.
I stamped the bear in the gift box and the little presents. I colored them with Copic Markers. Here are the colors I used:
Presents: Y00 – Y11 – Y02/ YR000 - YR61 – YR02/ G04 – G02
Bear: E41 – E43
Nose: E29
Ear: RV10
I fussy cut the images. I stamped one part of the sentiment onto a strip of kraft cardstock, using Versamark Ink. I heat embossed it with Opaque Bright White Embossing Powder from Wow. I adhered all the elements and then stamp the top part of the sentiment and also heat embossed it with the same embossing powder.
I added the panel to a piece of Perfectly Plaid paper from Lawn Fawn and then adhered it to a yellow cardbase. I added some glitter to the bow on the big present, using the Spectrum Noir Clear Sparkle Pen.
A fun birthday card, perfect for anyone.

Happy Valentine’s Day! For this gift bag I used the Goodie Bad die and the Sweet Smiles stamp from Lawn Fawn.
I die cut the Goodie Bag from dark pink cardstock and assembled it. I added a strip of Perfectly Plaid paper to the bottom of the front of the goodie bag.
I stamped the gumball machine onto some white cardstock and added two faces to the gumballs. I colored the image with Copic Markers. Here are the colors I used:

I die cut the image with my Cuttlebug and adhered it to the goodie bag, with foam tape. I die cut a tag with the Tiny Tags from Lawn Fawn. I used yellow cardstock. I stamped a sentiment onto the heart tag, with the Tony Tag Sayings stamp set, which coordinates with the die set. I took some yellow/ white twine and added my tag to it. I tied it onto the goodie bag and closed the bag with it as well.
This Valentine’s Day Goodie Bag is perfect for giving candy to your loved one.

WAVING HELLO (4)
For this friendship card I used the Mermaid For You stamp set from Lawn Fawn.
I started on the background, which is very simple. I took a piece of watercolor paper and three Distress Ink colors: Cracked Pistachio, Salty Ocean and Mermaid Lagoon. I took a wide brush with a round tip and watercolored the three colors on. For each color I used only one strike of the brush, from left to right. When I did the three colors, I set the background aside.
I stamped the images. I used the sitting mermaid and the rock. I stamped the seaweed in Freshly Cut Grass Ink and the corals in Wild Rose Ink and Merman Ink. All the inks are from Lawn Fawn. The other images I colored with Copic Markers. Here are the colors I used:
Hair: YR15 – YR07 – E08
Skin: E00 – E11
Tail: R22 – R35
Top: YG41 – G02
Rock: E41 – E43
I fussy cut the images. I adhered the rock, mermaid and pink colored coral to the background with foam tape. The seaweed and aqua colored coral I adhered flat. I stamped the sentiment underneath the images.
I added the panel to a pink cardbase and rounded off the top left and bottom right corners, with the We R Memory Keepers Corner Chomper. I also added glitter to the top and tail of the mermaid, with the Spectrum Noir Clear Sparkle Pen.

I added the panel to a pink cardbase and rounded off the top left and bottom right corners, with the We R Memory Keepers Corner Chomper. I also added glitter to the top and tail of the mermaid, with the Spectrum Noir Clear Sparkle Pen.
