AHOY, MATEY (2)
It's been a while since I made a card with the Ahoy, Matey stamp set from Lawn Fawn. I created this friendship card with these fun images.
For the background, I wanted to use the Rays stencil from Tim Holtz. I just love that stencil, I use it a lot. I used three Distress Ink colors for blending: Tattered Rose, Abandoned Coral and Seedless Preserves.
Towards the bottom of the background, I added a strip of Woodgrain carstock and a strip of Black Licorice cardstock. I stamped and heat embossed the sentiments onto that black strip, using white embossing powder from Ranger.
I stamped the images and colored them with Copic Markers. Here are the colors I used:
Girl: E00 - E11/ Y21 - Y26/ R22 - R35/ YR00 - YR02/ B63 - B66/ W5 - W7
Boy: E00 - E11/ E55 - E57/ R22 - R35/ YR00 - YR02/ B63 - B66/ W5 - W7/ E53 - E55
Palm trees: E55 - E57/ E74 - E79/ YG11 - YG13
Treasure chest: Y21 - Y26/ E55 - E57/ C0 - C3
Diamond: YG11 - YG13
Mountains: C0 - C3
Water: B12 - B14

GIFT BOX (3)
For the card set I made, with I Love You (calyptus), I wanted to create cute gift box. I used the Gift Box die for this, from Lawn Fawn. And also the Happy Plaid stamp set from Concord & 9th.
I die cut the box from Sunflower cardstock. For the top part, I wanted to create a plaid pattern. I used the Happy Plaid stamp set from Concord & 9th. I used two Lawn Fawn Inks for stamping: Celery Stick Ink and Carrot Ink.
I used the Outside In Stitched Heart Stackables to create a window in the lid of the box. I adhered some accetate to the back.
I also wanted to add a sentiment to the lid of the box. I die cut one of the sentiments that comes with the Gift Box set, from Fake Tan cardstock.
I assembled the box, added the sentiment and put the cards inside. Ready to give this away to a friend or loved one. So they can send the cards out themselves.

I also die cut some hearts. I used the Outside In Stitched Heart Stackables and die cut it three times from Gotta Have Gingham paper. The Lacy Heart Stackables I also used and I die cut this from Kraft cardstock.
I stamped the images and colored them with Copic Markers. Here are the colors I used:

YOU'RE AS SWEET AS ICE CREAM (2)
I created a very simple love themed card (or friendship card) with the cute mice from the Sweet Ice Cream set, by Waffle Flower.
I wanted to focus on the top half of the panel. I masked off a part of the panel and ink blended it with Shaded Lilac Distress Oxide Ink. I added some water drops and dabbed them off.
I stamped two of the images from the set and colored them with Copic Markers. Here are the colors I used:
Mice: W0 - W3/ RV10 - R83
Clothes: YG41 - G02/ BV000 - BV02
Ice cream: BV000 - BV02/ YG41 - G02/ R22 - R35/ YR00 - YR02/ YG13/ E53 - E55
I fussy cut the images and adhered them to the ink blended background. I stamped the sentiment in two Lawn Fawn Ink colors: Mermaid Ink and Sugarplum Ink.
I added the panel onto a Peacock cardbase and rounded off the two bottom corners.
With a differnt Distress ink color and different images/ sentiments, you can create endless new looks like this.
