TOAST TO YOUR BIRTHDAY (1)

I created a camping scene with the S'More the Merrier stamp set and Build-a-Campsite die set from Lawn Fawn.

For the background, I ink blended Broken China and Blueprint Sketch Oxide Inks together. I took the Mountain Stencil and ink blended mountains with Manatee Ink.

 I die cut grass from Cilatro cardstock, using the Grassy Border die set. I ink blended the edges with Lucky Clover Oxide Ink. I also trimmed a piece of Kraft cardstock, where I added dark brown splatters to. 

I die cut the tent from Fak Tan and No. 2 Pencil cardstock. Ink ink blended them with Candied Apple and Spiced Marmalade Distress Inks. The stakes were die cut from Black Licorice cardstock and the camp sign from Woodgrain cardstock.

I stamped the images and colored everything with Copic Markers. Here is a list of all the colors I used:

Owl: W0 - W3/ W3 - W5 - W7/ Y15 - Y17

Hedgehog: E000 - E00/ E57 - E29/

I die cut the images and assembled the card. I die cut the sentiment using the Stitched Oliver's ABCs die set and Chili Pepper cardstock. The rest of the sentiment was stamped onto a strip of No. 2 Pencik cardstock. 

I added highlights to the images, tent and die cut word with a white gel pen.

YOU ARE GRRREAT (1)

I created this jungle themed friendship card using the Toucan Do It stamp set and Grrr-Ific stamp set from Lawn Fawn.

For the background I used three Oxide Inks to blend: Abandoned Coral, Spiced Marmalade and Squeezed Lemonade.

I die cut the Slimline Tropical Border from Cilantro cardstock and ink blended it with Lucky Clover Oxide Ink. I trimmed a piece of Noble Fir cardstock and ink blended the edges with Noble Fir ink.

I stamped the images and colored everything with Copic Markers. Here are the colors I used:

Lion + leopard: YR21 - YR23/ E57 - E29/ W3 - W7

Toucan: C3 - C5 - C7 Y15 - Y17/ YR16 - YR68/ E000 - E00

Butterflies: RV14 - RV17/ B24 - B26/ BG53 - BG57

Lizard: B24 - B26/ YR16 - YR68

Branches: E57 - E29

Leaves: YG00 - YG03/ YG07 - YG09 - G28

Flowers: YG00 - YG03/ YG07 - YG09 - G28/ RV14 - RV17/ B24 - B26/ Y15 - Y17

I die cut all the images and assembled the card. I stamped the sentiment right in the middle of the scene and used C3, C5  and C7 markers to color the word grrreat. 

I added highlights to the images with a white gel pen.

HAPPY TRAILS (5)

I'm on the Lawn Fawn blog today with this camping scene. I used the new Build-a-Campsite die set and the Den Sweet Den stamp set from Lawn Fawn.

For the scene, I used the Large Slimline with Sliders die. I ink blended the sky with Blueprint Sketch and Broken China Oxide Inks. 

For the ground, I used Kraft cardstock. I added splatter with dark brown watercolor, from the Windsor & Newton watercolor set. 

I die cut the tent from Canned Pumpkin cardstock, Sage Leaf cardstock and a piece of Perfectly Plaid Fall pattern paper. The pins were die cut from Black Licorice cardstock. 

I stamped the images. I also used images from Snow Much Fun, Love You S'More, Happy Trails, Crazy ANtics, All the Clouds and Ocean Shell-Fie. I colored everything with Copic Markers. Here are the colors I used:

Bears: E71 - E74 - E79/ E000 - E00 - E21

Caravan: Y17 - YR16 - R08/ G21 - BG96/ C0 - C3/ C5 - C7/ B24 - B26/ BG000 - B00

Fire: Y17 - YR16 - R08/ Y15 - Y17

Plaid: C0 - C3/ B24 - B26

Knit work: Y17 - YR16 - R08/ G21 - BG96/ C0 - C3

Moon: Y15 - Y17

I die cut all the images and assembled the card. I heat embossed the sentiment using white embossing powder from Lawn Fawn. I added dots to the sky with a white gel pen, making it look like stars. I also used this pen to add highlights to the images.

YOU'RE THE BERRY BEST (3)

There is another new Lawn Fawnatics challenge and the theme is "Fun with Food". I usuall go back to the Sweet Friends stamp set when it comes to this theme, but this time I used So Smooth, in combination with some other sets.

For the background I used the new Watercolor Wishes Rainbow paper. I wanted everything set on a table. I used Gotta Have Gingham to make it look like a table cloth. An edge from Narwhal cardstock, which I die cut with the Stitched Scalloped Borders.

I stamped the images and colored everything with Copic Markers. Here are the colors I used;

Blender: C0 - C3/ R32 - R35/ Y15 - Y17/ BG53 - BG57/ BG000 - B00

I die cut or fussy cut the images and assembled the card. I stamped the sentiment in Versafine Onyx Black Ink and used a white gelly roll pen for highlights and dots.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU (5)

I'm so excited about all the cool new stuff Lawn Fawn has released recently! And my favorite is probably the Toucan Do It stamp set, which I used for this birthday card.

I started by ink blending the background. Very simple, just using Peacock Feathers Distress Ink. I die cut the Slimline Tropical Border and ink blended this piece with Twisted Citron and Lucky Clover Oxide Ink. 

I took the Giant Happy Birthday to You die and die cut it from Kraft cardstock. I ink blended the edges with Walnut Stain Distress Ink and added splatter to the letters as well.

I stamped all the images and used Copic Markers for coloring. Here are all the colors I used:

Toucan: C5 - C7/ E000 - E00/ Y15 - Y17/ YR16 - YR07

Leopard: YR21 - YR23/ E57 - E29/ C3 - C7

Leaves: BG18 - BG72/ YG00 - YG03/ YG07 - YG09 - G28

Flowers: R32 - R35/ Y15 - Y17/ YG07 - YG09 - G28/ B24 - B26

Lizard: B24 - B26/ YR16 - YR07

I die cut all the images and assembled the card.

I used a white gel pen to add highlights to the images. 

I'm pretty sure that I will use this set very often. I love how unique it is, I don't have any other stamp sets from Lawn Fawn that have toucans and leopards in them.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY (58)

This week is Fawny Summer Inspiration Week and I'm on the Lawn Fawn Blog with this summer themed birthday card. I used the Tiny Birthday Friends stamp set.

For the sky, I did very simple ink blending using Peacock Feathers Distress Ink. I die cut a hill with the Stitched Hillside Borders and grass with the Grassy Border die. I ink blended both with Twisted Citron and Lucky Clover Oxide Ink. For the 'street' I used Manatee Ink and Hippo Ink. I used a Stiched Borde die to add the stiched line onto it.

I stamped the images. I also used images from Village Shops, Happy Village and Giant Birthday Messages. Here are all the Copic Markers I used for coloring:

YOU'RE A FLANTASTIC FRIEND (2)

I always love working with the Sweet Friends stamp set from Lawn Fawn. I haven't used it in a while. 

For the background I used Mermaid cardstock. I wanted to add a stenciled background, using the Confetti Stencils from Lawn Fawn. I ink blended with Blueprint Sketch and Dusty Concord Oxide Inks.

For the ground I used a piece of Kraft cardstock.

I stamped the images and colored everything with Copic Markers. With cards like this, I always use the colors I used for the background and add another one or two colors. Here are all the colors I used for coloring:

S'More: E57 - E29/ E31 - E35/ E000 - E00

Donut: E31 - E35/ V06 - V09

Cupcake: R01 - R32/ E31 - E35

HAVE A RELAXING SUMMER (4)

I'm on the Lawn Fawnatics Blog today with this Summertime Fun card. I used a bunch of Lawn Fawn stamp sets: Ocean Shell-fie, You are Sublime, Mermaid For You, Smooth Sailing and On the Beach.

I started by die cutting the panel. I used the Large Slimline with Sliders die. I ink blended waves with the Ocean Waves stencil and Peacock Feathers + Blueprint Sketch Distress Inks. For the sky I used a cloud stencil and Worn Lipstick Distress Ink.

I die cut two hills from Vanilla Malt cardstock and ink blended them with Tea Dye Distress Ink. I also added dark brown watercolor splatters onto it, using the Winsor and Newton watercolors. 

I stamped the images and colored them all with Copic Markers. Here are the colors I used:

Octopus: R81 - R83 - R85/ Y15 - Y17

Fish: R81 - R83 - R85/ Y15 - Y17/ YG00 - YG03

Lobster: B24 - B26

Scuba diver: Y15 - Y17/ YG00 - YG03/ B24 - B26/ BG53 - BG57/ E25 - E29

SUMMER (1)

It's summertime over at the Lawn Fawnatics Blog . The newest challenge is called Summertime Fun. I created this all-die cut card, using the Scalloped Treat Box Beach House Add-On die set. I also used the Palm Trees set, Large Slimline with Sliders set, Stitched Wave Borders set, Slimline Hillside Borders and Oliver's ABCs. 

For the background, I used a clud stencil and Peacock Feathers Distress Ink. For the hills, which were die cut from Kraft carsdtock, I used Tea Dye Oxide Ink. I added splatter to the hill using the Winsor and Newton watercolors. For the ocean waves I used Mermaid cardstock and Broken China Oxide Ink.

I used a bunch of Lawn Fawn cardstock to die cut everything. Here are all the colors I used: Paperbag, Chocolate Bar, Cilantro, Chili Pepper, Noble Fir, No. 2 Pencil, Peacock, Sugarplum, Fog, Narwhal, Storm Cloud and Ballet Slippers.

After everything was die cut, I added all the die cut pieces to the scene. I used a white gel pen to add highlights to all the images.
