It’s really hard to make an appropriate sympathy card. The mini set Dream, from Lawn Fawn, is actually perfect for these kind of cards.
I stamped the two feather several times and colored them with Copic Markers. Here are the colors I used:
W2 – W5 – W7
I fussy cut the feather with my scissors.
I’m entering this card into the Lawnscaping Challenge and the task is to make a black and white card with a splash of color. I decided to take the word ‘splash’ literally. I used Peacock Feathers and Evergreen Bough Distress Inks as watercolors and created a border. Here I adhered the feathers, some flat some with foam tape. I stamped the sentiment in Memento Tuxedo Black Ink.
I adhered the strip flat to some pattern paper. I used the 6x6 paper pad from Cottage Living by Jen Hadfield (Pebbles). The entire panel was adhered flat to a white cardbase. I added some Wink of Stella clear glitter to the feathers and I rounded off the top right corner with the We R Memory Keepers Corner Chomper.
A sympathy card, not to sober, to let people know you’re thinking of them.

I agree, sympathy cards are hard to make, but you did a fabulous job! This is beautiful and serene.
