HAPPY BIRTHDAY (54)

Today my card is featured on the Lawn Fawnatics Blog for the theme 'interactive cards'. I created a Flippin Awesome card, which I haven't done in a while. I used the Mermaid For You stamp set, together with Fintastic Friends, Party Animal and You are Sublime.

I die cut all the elements for the Flippin' Awesome mechanism. I ink blended the four small panels an the bigger panel with Broken China Oxide Ink. I die cut hills using the Stitched Hillside Borders. I ink blended them with Antique Linen and Ground Espresso Distress Ink. I added splatters to all the pieces.

I stamped the images and colored them with Copic Markers. Here are the colors I used:
Mermaids: E00 - E21 - E11 - E04/ E21 - E25/ W3 - W5 - W7/ E31 - E33 - E35/ YR21 - YR23/ BV000 - BV02 - BV13/ BG53 - BG57/ Y08 - Y17/ G02 - G05

Moon fish: BV000 - BV02 - BV13/ Y08 - Y17
Seahorse: BG53 - BG57/ Y08 - Y17
Narwhal: W0 - W2 - W3 - W5/ E00 - E11 - E04
Other fish: BG53 - BG57/ G02 - G05
Lobster: Y08 - Y17
Rocks: W0 - W2 - W3 - W5
Plants: BV000 - BV02 - BV13/ BG53 - BG57/ Y08 - Y17/ G02 - G05
Cake: BV000 - BV02 - BV13/ BG53 - BG57/ Y08 - Y17/ G02 - G05/ E55 - E57
Gifts: BV000 - BV02 - BV13/ BG53 - BG57/ Y08 - Y17/ G02 - G05
Starfish: Y08 - Y17

I fussy cut all the images and added them to the panels. I assembled the Flippin' Awesome mechanism and added it to a piece of Knit Picky Fall paper.

I die cut one of the banners from the Flippin's Awesome die set, using Peacock cardstock. I stamped and heat embossed the sentiment using white embossing powder from Lawn Fawn.

The pull tab was die cut from Peacok cardstock and No 2. Pencil cardstock.
