GIFT TAGS (5)

I created these cute birthday tags, using the Honecomb Shaker Gift Tag die set and the Hive Five stamp set from Lawn Fawn.

I die cut the elements for the tag from No. 2 Pencil and Sticky Note cardstock. The inside of the tag I stenciled, using the Honeycomb Stencil and Fossilized Amber with Spiced Marmalade Distress Oxide Inks.

I die cut some shaker elements, using the die that comes with the set, die cutting tiny hexagons. I used four Lawn Fawn cardstock colors: Black Licorice, Fake Tan, No. 2 Pencil and Sticky Note.

I stamped two of the little bees and two fly tracks. I colored them with Copic Markers:
Bees: Y15 - Y17/ BG000 - B00
Party accessories: Y38 - YR68/ W5 - W7

I die cut them with the coordinating dies and added them to the tags. I also stamped and heat embossed the sentiment. I assembled the tags and added twin to the top.

HOPPY NEW YEAR (1)

It's all about New Year's cards this challenge, over at the Lawn Fawnatics blog. I never make New Year's cards, but I'm really happy with this one. I used the Don't Worry Be Hoppy stamp set, together with the Toadally Awesome stamp set.

For the background, I die cut a piece of Apricot cardstock with the Outside In Stitched Square Stackables. I took the Confetti Stencils and ink blended with Candied Apple and Spiced Marmalade Oxide Inks.

I die cut the word 'hoppy' from Black Licorice cardstock and No. 2 Pencil cardstock. I used Oliver's Stitched ABC's for this.

For the rest of the sentiment, I used a strip of Black Licorice cardstock, white embossing powder and the Happy Happy Happy Add-On stamp set.

I stamped the images and colored everything with Copic Markers. Here is a list of colors I used;
Frogs: YG00 - YG03/ YG63 - YG67
Dragonflies: C0 - C3

I die cut or fussy cut the images and assembled the card. I stamped the trail behind the dragonflies in Hippo Ink.

HAVE A VERY HAPPY EASTER (1)

Today is the start of a new Lawn Fawnatics challenge on their blog and the theme is Spring! I create this Easter card, with the Spring Critter Huggers die set and Build-a-Basket Easter die set.

For the sky I used Peacock Feathers Distress Ink and a cloud stencil.

I die cut the Grassy Border die from Cilantro cardstock and ink blended the blades with Lucky Clover Oxide Ink.

The bunny was die cut from Paper Bag, Kraft, Ballet Slippers and Black Licorice cardstock. The basket from Speckled Eggshel cardstock. The carrots, from the Stitched Garden Border die set, were die cut from Fake Tan, Canned Pumpkin, No. 2 Pencil and Cilantro cardstock.

I assembled the basket, bunny and carrots and added everything to my cloudy background. I used a white gel pen for adding highlights and dots. I stamped the sentiment in Carrot Ink.
