HAVE A CAPY BIRTHDAY (1)

I'm at the Lawn Fawnatics Blog today with this fun, cheery birthday card, made for my friends daughter who turned 7. I used the Capybara stamp set and the Cake it Easy (+ its add-on) stamp set. 

For the background I wanted to ink blend balloons, using the Balloons stencil and Distress Oxide Inks. The colors I used: Twisted Citron + Lucky Clover, Fossilized Amber + Spiced Marmalade, Salty Ocean + Blueprint Sketch and Worn Lipstick + Festive Berries. 

I added a strip of Woodgrain cardstock to the bottom of the ink blended panel. 

I stamped all the images and colored the images and colored everything with Copic Markers:

Cake: E41 - E43 - E44/ Y15 - Y17/ R32 - R35/ YG13 - YG09

Capybaras: E31 - E33 - E35/ E57 - E29

Hats: Y15 - Y17/ R32 - R35/ YG13 - YG09/ B24 - B26

Horn: R32 - R35/ B24 - B26

Strawberries: R32 - R35/ YG13 - YG09

Cherries: R35 - R37

Oranges: Y15 - Y17/ YG13 - YG09

Candle: Y15 - Y17/ B24 - B26

I die cut the images and assembled the card. I stamped the sentiment and added highlights and dots to the images, using a white gel pen.
