DAD YOU'RE O-FISH-ALLY AWESOME (1)
I love this Dad + Me stamp set from Lawn Fawn. I combined it with the Stitched Mountain Borders, also by Lawn Fawn, to create a father’s day card.
I started by trimming a piece of light blue cardstock, to use as my base layer. I die cut two mountain borders with my Cuttlebug. I also die cut some grass with the Grassy Border from Lawn Fawn.
I stamped all the images. Some of them I stamped with Lawn Fawn Inks and some I colored with Copic Markers. Here are the colors I used:
Bears: E25 – E29/ E11
Fish: W0 – W2 – W5
Water: Fish Tank Ink
Plants: Noble Fir Ink and Doe Ink
I fussy cut all the images. I stamped the sentiment with Versamark Ink and heat embossed it with Opaque Bright White Embossing Powder from Wow. I then assembled my card. I adhered everything flat and eventually adhered the panel to a black cardbase. I made sure that there was a little border all around.
This card is going to be for my dad, for father’s day!

IT'S A BOY/ IT'S A GIRL (1)
I had a clear idea in my head before I started these cards. I made two of the same baby cards, one girl and one boy version, with the Plus One stamp set from Lawn Fawn.
I started by die cutting three hearts from some Tim Holtz Watercolor cardstock. I used the Hearts dies from Lawn Fawn. Those hearts are going to be the shaker windows on the cards. When the hearts were die cut, I used Distress Inks as watercolors to color the panel. I used Picked Raspberry for the girl card and Salty Ocean for the boy card.
I let the watercolored panels dry and went over to the image. I stamped the stork twice and colored it with Copic Markers. Here are the colors I used:
Stork: W0 – W2
Beak: Y17 – YR04
Blue bag: BG000 – BG01
Pink bag: RV21 – RV23
I fussy cut the stork with my scissors. I stamped the sentiment on both panels and started assembling my shaker cards. I used a double layer of foam tape and added some Pretty Pink Posh sequins to the shaker windows. I added the boy card to some blue cardstock and the girl card to dark pink cardstock. I adhered the stork with some foam tape and the panels flat to a white cardbase. As a finishing touch I added some Wink of Stella clear glitter to the bags.
Real cute baby cards, for a boy and for a girl. I’m really happy with how they turned out.

LET'S SHELL-EBRATE (1)
This Party Posse stamp set from Paper Smooches has some cute images, but the turtle I wanted to use first. Especially because of the adorable sentiment that goes with it.
I started by stamping the turtle and colored him with Copic Markers. Here are the colors I used:
Turtle: G14 – G07 – G28
Shell + toes: E25 – E29 – E77
Hat: BV02 – BV13 – BV17/ V04 – V06 – V12
Balloon: V04 – V06 – V12
I fussy cut him with my scissors and went over to the background. I die cut a rectangle with the Double Stitched Rectangle STAX from My Favorite Things. I used Let’s Polka in the Meadow pattern paper from Lawn Fawn. I also die cut some grass with the Grassy Border Die from Lawn Fawn. I cut the border in half, so I have two small borders. I adhered them to the pattern paper. The front grassy border I adhered with foam tape. I also did that with the turtle and the balloon.
I stamped the sentiment in Sugarplum Ink from lawn Fawn and cut a flag banner. I added it to the panel.
I used some Wink of Stella for the balloon and party hat and I also added a white stripe to the balloon with a white gel pen. I adhered the panel to a kraft cardbase.
Such a cute and simple card.

CRAFTY HAUL (1)
With the new Summer 2016 release from Lawn Fawn, I just couldn't resist. I purchased two of their newest stamp sets and one fo the dies.
The Dad + Me stamp set is perfect for father's day. But it can be used all year round. I just love the images and off course the sweet and punny sentiments. I have a ton of ideas with these stamps already
The Stitched Mountain Border dies fits this stamp set perfectly. And I love how you can add snowy caps to them as well. I can use them for Christmas cards as well.
The Flamingo Together stamp set is a smaller set, which makes it a bit cheaper than other sets. I just love those flamingos and all those amazing sentiments. I'm already thinking of making a card with these cute birds, on a beachy sunset scene.

YOU'RE KINDA PAWESOME (1)
I got these awesome Classic Window dies from My Favorite Things and I immediately got an idea. I combined it with the Cat-Itude stamp set from My Favorite Things.
I started by die cutting the window frame and also the bigger window, to put over top. I also die cut the window ledge and the curtains. For the curtains I used some light green colored cardstock.
I stamped the smallest cat from the Cat-Itude set and colored him with Copic Markers. Here are the colors I used:
Cat: YR15 – YR07 – E08
Nose: W2 – W5 – W7
Ears: RV21
Collar: YG11 – G21 – BG93
I die cut the cat with my Cuttlebug. I wanted the cat to sit in front of the window, on the ledge. But I also needed something one the outside of the window. So I created a background using Distress Inks. I used Salty Ocean and Peacock Feathers and blended them together. I added some water to it and dabbed the droplets off with a paper towel.
Time to assemble. I added the biggest window over the frame with foam tape and also added the curtain, ledge and cat to the panel. I adhered the blended sky to the back of the panel. I adhered the entire panel to the same light green cardstock as I used for the curtains. I left a little border on the left and right side. I used foam tape to adhere it. The entire thing was adhered flat to a white cardbase.
As a finishing touch I added some Wink of Stella to the curtains. And that’s my card.

TURNIPS, RADISHES, BEETS, CARROTS (1)
I created some cute tags, using the Rooting For You stamps from Lawn Fawn.
I started by die cutting the tags, from blue cardstock, with the Double Stitched Rectangle STAX from My Favorite Things. I also used the Double Stitched Circle STAX, to create the hills, using some kraft cardstock. I die cut them with my Cuttlebug.
Then I went ahead and stamped all the veggies. I used multiple colors for each vegetable. Here are the inks I used:
Carrot: Carrot Ink and Pumpkin Spice Ink (Lawn Fawn)
Turnip: Butter Ink and Fresh Lavender Ink (Lawn Fawn)
Beet: Fresh Lavender and Juice Box Ink (Lawn Fawn)
Radishes: Lobster Ink (Lawn Fawn)
Leafs and veins: Sour Apple Ink and Green Room Ink (My Favorite Things)
Name cards: Sunflower Ink (Lawn Fawn)
I fussy cut all of the veggies with my scissors and started assembling my tags. I adhered the hills onto the tags with foam tape and then added the vegetables and name cards to the tags. I poked a hole in each of the tags, so you can put some twine or ribbon through it and add it to a present.
Lovely right! This will make any gift even more fun.

HAPPY BEEP BOOP BIRTHDAY (1)
Today I created a birthday card for a friend, who is very good with computers and other technical stuff. The Boom Bots stamp set from Paper Smooches is perfect for this card.
I started on the background. I stamped three of the gear images in different blue inks. I used Mermaid Ink and Fish Tank Ink from Lawn Fawn and also Nightshift Blue from My Favorite Things.
I stamped one of the robots onto some white cardstock and colored him with Copic Markers. Here are the colors I used:
Robot: C0 – C2/ BG000 – BG01
I fussy cut him with my scissors and added him to the background with foam tape. I stamped the sentiment in Lobster Ink from Lawn Fawn and one part with the Nightshif Blue again.
I added the background to some pattern paper from Echo Park. I added it to a dark blue cardbase and rounded off the top left and bottom right corner, with the We R Memory Keepers Corner Chomper. I also added some Wink of Stella clear glitter to the gears.

YOU ARE MY SUNSHINE (1)
It’s really hard to get stamps from Simon Says Stamp here in The Netherlands. I came across a really cute set that I found on a website where someone sold it because she didn’t use it anymore. The Happy Days stamp set. And here is the card I made with with.
I started by stamping the sun and cloud on some white cardstock. I colored them with Copic Markers. Here are the colors I used:
Sun: Y02 – Y06 – Y08 – Y17
Cloud: C0 – C2
Cheeks: YR02 – R22
I fussy cut them out with my scissors and went over the background. I die cut a circle from a rectangle. This circle is going to be my shaker frame, for the shaker card I’m making. I die cut the circle with the Double Stitched Circle STAX from My Favorite Things. I also kept the inner circle. I used Evergreen Bough Distress Ink to color it. I used the mini mister to create a distressed effect. I dabbed off the water with a paper towel.
I put some acetate behind the shaker window and added the sun, cloud and sentiment to the front of the card, with foam tape. I wrapped some aqua and white colored twine around the right side of the panel and tied a bow at the top.
I added the panel to some green cardstock, with a double layer of foam tape. This way the shaker material will have more room to shake. The sequins I added are from Pretty Pink Posh. This shaker part I added to some pattern paper. I used the Perfectly Plaid 6x6 paper pad from Lawn Fawn. The entire panel was adhered to a green cardbase.
To finish it off I added some Wink of Stella clear glitter to the cheeks and the speech bubble with the sentiment. And that’s my card.

CANDY BOX (1)
I finally got to use my Candy Box Die from Lawn Fawn. I made this so I could put a gift card in it, which fits perfectly.
I die cut the Candy Box twice, because you need two of them to create one box. I used the 6x6 Perfectly Plaid paper pad from Lawn Fawn. I folded the lines and taped the two die cuts together with some strong doubled sided tape.
I closed both sides with some twine, but before closing the second side I put the gift card in.
I wanted to make a label as well. I die cut the smallest circle from the Double Stitched Circle STAX from My Favorite Things. I used the words ‘to’ and ‘from’, from the Summertime Charm stamp set from Lawn Fawn. I also stamped the little bug from that set twice. I colored that with Copic Markers. I used BG23 and BG49.
When I finished the label I adhered it to the candy box. I made this for a friend, but I didn’t put the name onto it in the photo. I hope to use this Candy Box die more often in the future, I love it!

CONGRATULATIONS (1)
I was asked to create a card for someone’s 60th wedding anniversary. She wanted me to use either elephants or hedgehogs. I think the Hedgehugs stamp set from Lawn Fawn is perfect. I combined them with the Hearts dies from Lawn Fawn.
I started with the hearts. I used some Worn Lipstick Distress Ink and blended it onto some Tim Holtz watercolor cardstock. Then I die cut all the hearts with my Cuttlebug. I used the negative hearts for blending the background. I used Spun Sugar Distress Ink for that. I adhered the hearts to the panel after I blended the hearts onto it. I used foam tape to adhere them.
I stamped both hedgehogs onto some white cardstock and colored them with Copic Markers. Here are the colors I used:
Face: E00 – E11 – E21
Spikes: E25 – E29 – E77
Cheeks: RV02
I fussy cut them out with my scissors and adhered them with foam tape. I stamped the greeting right underneath the hedgehogs. This sentiment is from the Oh Happy Day set by Avery Elle.
I added the panel to some pattern paper. It’s from the Perfectly Plaid 6x6 paper pad from Lawn Fawn. I rounded off all the corners with the We R Memory Keepers Corner Chomper. I added the panel to a pink cardbase. As a finishing touch I added some Wink of Stella clear glitter to the hearts.
I hope the happy couple will love this card as much as I do!

OH HAPPY DAY (1)
Today I made a card using the Adorable Elephants stamp set. I made a birthday card.
I wanted to use two elephants and the heart shaped balloon. I stamped them onto some white cardstock and colored them with Copic Markers. Here are the colors I used.
Elephants: W0 – W2 – W5
Ears: RV02 – RV21 – W0
Balloon: R14 – R17 – R59
I die cut the images with my Cuttlebug and went over to my background. I used one of the pattern papers from Let’s Polka in the Meadow, from Lawn Fawn, as my sky. I die cut some clouds with the Puffy Cloud Borders from Lawn Fawn and grass with the Grassy Border, also from Lawn Fawn.
I adhered the clouds and grass to the pattern paper. For both I adhered the front layer with foam tape for some extra dimension. The elephants and ballon I also taped down with foam tape. I stamped the sentiment with Versafine Onyx Black Ink. This sentiment is from the Oh Happy Day stamp set by Avery Elle.
As a finishing touch I added some Wink of Stella clear glitter to the balloon and covered it with Glossy Accents from Ranger. This way it looks like an actual balloon.
I’m going to send it to my friend Irene, who celebrates her birthday May 12th.

YOU ROCKED IT! (1)
I wanted to use the Strike Up The Band stamp set again, from My Favorite Things. I made this card for the MFT Color Challenge.
I started by stamping and coloring three of the rabbit images. I colored them with Copic Markers. Here are the colors I used:
Fur: W0 – W2 – W5
Hat + pants: YR02 – YR04 – YR07
Jacket: YG03 – G14
Rim of hat + buttons + shoes: V01 – V04 – V09
Trumpet + stick: Y02 – Y08
Drum: C0 – C2/ V01 – V04 – V09
Once the watercolored background was dry, I stamped the sentiment and musical notes with Versafine Onyx Black Ink. I adhered the rabbits onto the panel with foam tape. The entire panel was adhered onto a white landscape cardbase, also with foam tape.
I started out with no idea, only the colors I wanted to use. I’m pretty happy with this card. Please check out the Color Challenge over at the MFT blog.

BONJOUR (1)
I wanted to create a fun friendship card using the Gleeful Gardens stamp set from Lawn Fawn.
I started by drawing a square on white cardstock, with a pencil. I’m going to work within this frame, but I don’t want it to be perfectly straight (hard for a perfectionist like me). I stamped the grass and the flower onto the cardstock, those are going to be in the background. The bird, snail and envelope I stamped onto another piece of paper. They are going to be adhered later so they are in the front. Before I started coloring, I used some Distress Ink to watercolor the background of the square. I used Evergreen Bough and only a very light wash of it. I wanted it to look a bit messy and random.
I started coloring the images with Copic Markers. Here are the colors I used:
Hummingbird: BG23 – BG49/ YR15
Snail: G21 – BG96/ YR15 – YR07 – E08
Envelope: V04 – V06 – V12
Grass + stem flower: YG03 – BG93 – BG96
Flower: Y21 – Y17 – YR15/ BG000
I fussy cut the hummingbird, snail and envelope and adhered them to the panel with foam tape. This way they pop and it looks like they are in the front. I stamped the sentiment onto the card with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink. I added some Wink of Stella clear glitter to the envelope and hummingbird.
I adhered the panel to some pattern paper, from the 6x6 Perfectly Plaid paper pad from Lawn Fawn. I used foam tape for this. The entire panel was adhered flat to a yellow cardbase.
I made this card for the Lawnscaping Challenge where we had to use critters on the card.
