I LUV U (1)

It's "Lots of Heart" week at the Lawn Fawn Blog and I created this very cute cupid card, using the Build-a-Fox die set, Build-a-Critter Valentine Accessories die set and the Puffy Cloud Backdrop: Portrait.

I started by die cutting the Puffy Cloud Backdrop, from Vanilla Malt cardstock. I ink blended the top edges of the clouds with Kitsch Flamingo Distress Oxide Ink. I also did the edges all around.

I die cut the Fox elements from Lawn Fawn cardstock: Canned Pumpkin, Vanilla Malt, Pencil Eraser and Black Licorice. For all the cupid accessories I used: Gold, Kraft, Chili Pepper and Fog cardstock.

I assembled the fox and all its accessories and added him to the cloud backdrop. I wanted to add some more hearts, which were die cut from Chili Pepper cardstock. These hearts are from the Heart Garland Backdrop: Landscape die set.

As a finishing touch I stamped the sentiment in Lobster Ink, using a sentiment from Critter Conversation Hearts. And I added some highlights to the die cut images, with a white gel pen.

BOOK MARK (10)

I created this spooky book mark, using the Stitched Bookmark die set, Build-a-Fox die set, Build-a-Critter Costumes die set and the Book Collection die set. All from Lawn Fawn

I started by die cutting the book mark from Hyacinth cardstock. I wanted to ink blend with Villainous Potion Distress Oxide Ink, by using the Autumn Breeze Stencil.

I die cut the fox elements. I actually wanted to turn it into a wolf, so I used darker Lawn Fawn cardstocks: Storm Cloud, Narwhal, Black Licorice and Ballet Slippers.

I also die cut the Book Collection dies using Lawn Fawn cardstocks: Vanilla Malt, Sugarplum, No. 2 Pendcil and Fake Tan.

For the with hat I used Sugarplum, Black Licorice and No. 2 Pencil cardstock. I also used Sugarplum for the cape. For the broom I used Paperbag and Ground Coffee cardstocks.

I assembled the books, the fox and the broom and added them to the book mark. I used a white gel pen to add highlights and dots. As a finishing touch I added little eyelets in Fake Tan cardstock to the top of the book mark and some purple twine.

I will give this to my brother, a fellow bookworm who loves scary books.
