YOU ARE SPEC-TACO-LAR (1)

We are havving fun with food over at the Lawn Fawnatics Blog today. I cerated a taco cart card, using the Treat Cart stamp set with its Add-On Tacos set. 

For the background I ink blended with Fossilized Amber and Worn Lipstick Distress Oxide Inks. I added some Stitched Hillside Borders, which were die cut from Kraft cardstock and ink blended with Vintage Photo. 

I stamped the images and colored everything with Copic Markers:

Bears: E57 - E29

Cart: C0 - C3/ C5 - C7/ R08 - R46/ R32 - R35/ Y15 - Y17/ YG13 - YG09

Banners: R32 - R35/ Y15 - Y17/ YG13 - YG09

Sign: E31 - E33 - E35/ E57 - E29

Drink: R32 - R35/ Y15 - Y17/ BG00 - B00

Taco: E31 - E33 - E35/ E57 - E29/ YG13 - YG09/ R08 - R46/ Y15 - Y17

Sauces: C3 - C5/ YG13 - YG09/ R08 - R46/ C5 - C7

Cacti: E31 - E33 - E35/ YG13 - YG09

I die cut the images and assembled the card. I used a white gel pen to add highlights and dots to the images. I stamped the sentiment at the top of the card.

HAVE A VERY CAPY BIRTHDAY (2)

I created this capybara scene, I love all these new pieces from Lawn Fawn I used the Capybara stamp set adn its add-on, but also the Riverside Backdrop: Portrait die set. 

For the scene, I die cut the Riverside Backdrop: Portrait from watercolor cardstock. I ink blended each element with Distress Oxide Inks. For the water  I used Salty Ocean and Blueprint Sketch. For the grass I ink blended with Twisted Citron and Lucky Clover. I used Tumbled Glass and Broken China for the sky.

I stamped the images and colored everything with Copic Markers:

Capybaras: E31 - E33 - E35/ E57 - E29

Cake: E41 - E43 - E44/ Y15 - Y17

Oranges: YG00 - YG03/ Y17 - YR16

Frog: YG00 - YG03/ YG09 - G17

Grass: YG13 - YG09

Party accessories: Y17 - YR16. Y15 - Y17/ B02 - B05

LET'S PAR-TEA (1)

We have another new challenge at the Lawn Fawnatics Blog and it's a color inspiration challenge. I used the Build-a-Drink Bubble Tea Add-On die set for this card. 

For the background I used a piece of pattern paper, from the Fruit Salad paperpad. I die cut the elements from several Lawn Fawn cardstocks: Guava, Sunflower, Mermaid, Cilantro and Paperbag. 

I ink blended with Distress Oxide Inks the elements, to give some dimension.  For the Guava cardstock I used Festive Berries, for Sunflower I used Spiced Marmalade, for Cilantro I used Lucky Clover and for Mermaid I used Salty Ocean + Blueprint Sketch. 

I decided to add stripes to the straws, using the Skinny Stripes stencil. 

I assmebled the bubble tea cups and added them to the background. I sued a white gel pen for highlights. I used the All the Speech Bubbles stamp set to add a sentiment to the card.
