LOVE & HUGS (1)

I just love the Fab Flowers stamp set from Lawn Fawn. I really like layering those flowers to create a beautiful floral look. I made this love card with them and all the inks I used are also from Lawn Fawn.

I used my Misti for the stamping. I used the following colors to stamp the flowers:
Pink flowers: Peachy Keen Ink and Wild Rose Ink
Yellow flowers: Sunflower Ink and Carrot Ink
Purple flowers: Fresh Lavender Ink and Sugarplum Ink
Leaves: Minty Fresh Ink and Merman Ink

When I stamped all the flowers, I stamped the sentiment with Versafine Onyx Black Ink. I then heat embossed it with Clear Closs Embossing Powder from Wow. I rounded off the bottom right corner and done is the card.

Because I used the Misti stamping tool, I could create three of these at once. Realle awesome!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY (14)

For this birthday card, I combined the Love Letters stamp set with the Scripty Happy die, from Lawn Fawn.

I started by die cutting a piece of Watercolor Wishes pattern paper with the Double Stitched Rectangle STAX, from My Favorite Things. This is my base. I took another piece of Watercolor Wishes paper and die cut the word happy three times. I layered them, to give the die cut word dimension.

I stamped the two birds and the envelope. I colored them with Copic Markers. Here are the colors I used:
Pink bird: RV10 – RV21
Purple bird: V91 – V95
Beaks: Y08 – YR15
Envelope: C0 – C2
Heart: YR00

I trimmed a strip of black cardstock and stamped the word birthday onto it. I heat embossed it with Opaque Bright White Embossing Powder from Wow.

I fussy cut the images and started assembling the card. I added all the elements to the base. The base I added to a white cardbase, that is bigger. This gives it a broad white border. As a finishing touch I added some musical notes to the top bird.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY (13)

I really needed this sloth stamp, that’s from the Hang In There stamp set from Lawn Fawn. I created a birthday card with this cute set.

I started by stamping the sloth and the party hat. I colored the images with Copic Markers. Here are the colors I used:
Sloth: E41 – E43 – E71/ W0/ E71 – W7
Branch: E25 – E77
Party hat: YR04 – YR07/ V06 – V09

I fussy cut the images and went over to my scene. I trimmed a piece of the Watercolor Wishes paper into a rectangle. This is my sky. I die cut some grass from green cardstock, using the Meadow Borders die. I also die cut some clouds, with the Simple Puffy Clouds dies. All the dies are also from Lawn Fawn.

I stamped the sentiment and adhered all the elements together and added the panel to a white cardbase.

WITH LOVE (1)

I couldn’t wait to play with the Fab Flowers stamp set from Lawn Fawn. I used it, in combination with Lawn Fawn Inks, to create some birthday labels.

This is also the first time using my Misti stamping tool. I started by die cutting a circle with the Small Stitched Circle Stackables from Lawn Fawn. I stamped the flowers in Lawn Fawn Inks. It’s a layering stamp set, so I used two different colors for each flower or leaf. Here are the colors I used:
Pink flowers: Bubblegum Ink and Ballet Slippers Ink
Purple flowers: Fresh Lavender Ink and Sugarplum Ink
Yellow flowers: Butter Ink and Sunflower Ink
Leaves: Minty Fresh Ink and Merman Ink

I made two labels, with a different pattern. I stamped the sentiment, which is also from Fab Flowers, in Hippo Ink. I added the circles to a pink cardstock that I die cut with the Scalloped Circle Stackables from Lawn Fawn.

I wrapped the presents with wrapping paper that matches the ink colors I used, and adhered the labels to the top left corner of the gifts. I’m not a good gift wrapper, but I always manage to hide it with fun wrapping paper, washi tapes and cute hand made labels.

CRAFTY HAUL (11)

I got some new craft supplies, mostly from the newest Lawn Fawn release.

The Fab Flowers stamp set is something I really needed. I only have a flower set from Altenew, but I love a more whimsical style. So this layering set is perfect.

The Happy Hatchling die set is so much fun to use for Easter, spring and baby cards. Can't wait to create cards with this set.

The Hang in There set is a smaller set, but with a lot of elements. And I just needed a sloth stamp. I have a bunch of ideas already!

I got a word die and picked the Scripy Happy. It will be a very versatile die.

Three inks I added to my collection: Minty Fresh Ink, Bubblegum Ink and Ballet Slippers Ink. I just love those pastels.

The two new paper pads that Lawn Fawn released are amazing. Perfectly Plaid Rainbow and Watercolor Wishes. Beautiful!!!

And I finally got the Misti stamping tool. Oh how much I wanted this. I got the mini Misti, because it's good enough for me.

Happy crafting!!!

HOPPY EASTER! (2)

Time for another Easter card. I used the Hoppy Easter set from Lawn Fawn.

I wanted to create a clean and simple card, with just a little dimension. I started by stamping the bunny three times and I stamped all the accessories that come with this mini stamp set. So the basket, the egg and the carrot. I colored all the images with Copic Markers. Here are the colors I used:
Left bunny: E41 – E43
Middle bunny: W0 – W2
Right bunny: E00 – E11
Inside of ears: RV10
Carrot: YR15 – YR04/ YG03
Egg: YG41 – BV02
Basket: E25 – E29

I fussy cut all the images and adhered them to a white panel. I stamped the sentiment with two Lawn Fawn Inks: Merman Ink and Fresh Lavender Ink. These colors coordinate with the egg the middle bunny is holding.

I adhered the panel onto a lilac colored cardbase and rounded off the bottom corners with the We R Memory Keepers Corner Chomper. Sometimes I’m in the mood to create a clean and simple card. I’m happy with it.

WISHING YOU A BEAUTIFUL DAY (1)

For this birthday card I created a lovely scene with the Bicycle Built For You stamp set from Lawn Fawn.

I stamped the bicycle, the boy, the girl and the food that I’m going to add to the basket later. I colored the images with Copic Markers. Here are the colors I used:
Skin: E00 – E11
Hair girl: E57 – E29
Hair boy: E41 – E43
Dress + shoes girl: R22 – R35
Shirt + shoes boy: YG41 – G02
Pants boy: BG93 – B95
Bicycle: C0 – C2/ C5/ B00
Cheese: Y11 – Y02
Wine: R29 – R59/ E25
Bread: E31 – E43

I die cut the images with my Cuttlebug and went over to my scene. I took watercolor cardstock for the background, I wanted a blended sky. I used Mermaid Lagoon and Cracked Pistachio Distress Inks and applied them onto the cardstock with a blending tool.

I die cut two green hills, with the Stitched Hillside Borders. I stamped the sentiment onto the smallest hill. I also die cut the trees with the Stitched Tree Borders and some clouds with the Simple Puffy Clouds dies. All the dies are from Lawn Fawn.

I assembled all the elements and adhered everything to a kraft colored cardbase. I really love this stamp set, I will be using it a lot more!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY, DREAM BIG

It’s been a while since I used the Jungle Friends die set from My Favorite Things. I used them for this birthday card.

I started on my background. I wanted a sunset background, like the opening scene in “The Lion King”. I used Distress Inks and an ink blending tool to create this. The colors I used are Candied Apple, Carved Pumpkin and Mustard Seed.

I then started the die cutting. It’s a lot of die cutting!!!! I used the grass, the crocodile, the giraffe and both elephants. I then adhered all of the images onto the sunset background. I stamped the sentiment, which is from the Adorable Elephants stamp set.

I adhered the panel onto a green cardbase and that’s it. The card looks a bit crowded, but that’s why I picked that sentiment.

HOPE YOUR BIRTHDAY IS OUT OF THIS WORLD (2)

For this birthday card I created a watercolor panel with the Out of This World stamp set from Lawn Fawn.

I stamped the rocket image repeatedly onto some watercolor paper, with Versamark Ink and then heat embossed it with Opaque Bright White Embossing Powder from Wow.

I used Zig Clean Color Real Bursh Markers to color the rockets. Here are the colors I used:
080 – Violet
041 – Light Green
052 – Bright Yellow

I stamped and heat embossed the sentiment onto a piece of black cardstock. I adhered it onto the panel with foam tape. I adhered the panel to a green cardbase and added some star sequins to the card as well.

I love watercoloring panels like this.

I just love the new Bicycle Built For You stamp set by Lawn Fawn, it’s my favorite of the new release. I created a thank you card with this set.

Bicycle + flag: C0 – C2/ C5/ R22 – R35
Girl’s hair: E41 – E43
Girl’s skin: E00 – E11

I die cut the images with my Cuttlebug and went over to my scene. I used some pattern paper from the Beachside paper pad by Lawn Fawn, for the sky. I die cut a hill with the Stitched Hillside Border, from green cardstock. I also die cut a grassy hill with the Meadow Borders from Lawn Fawn, from dark green cardstock. I die cut the tree with the Leafy Tree Backdrop: Landscape and also the leaves.

I assembled the card, added the word ‘merci’ onto the flag and adhered the panel to a pink cardbase. Super simple, yet super cute!

HOPPY EASTER (1)

For this Easter card, I combined the Hoppy Easter mini set and the Chirpy Chirp Chirp set from Lawn Fawn.

I started by stamping the eggs from Chirpy Chirp Chirp. I used four Lawn Fawn Inks: Mermaid Ink, Butter Ink, Peachy Keen ink and Fresh Lavender Ink. I stamped the little stars onto them with the same inks. I fussy cut them out and went over to the other images.

I stamped the bunny three times and colored him different all three times. I used Copic Markers. Here are the colors I used:
Brown bunny: E41 – E43
Dark grey bunny: W5 – W7
Light grey bunny: W0 – W2

I added some white dots to their cheeks. I fussy cut the bunnies also. I die cut two grass borders with the Meadow Borders die from Lawn Fawn and used Mowed Lawn Distress Ink to color the borders. For the sky I used Tattered Rose Distress Ink.

I assembled the card and stamped the sentiment in Mermaid Ink. That’s another Easter card done!
